Cosplay and Props Contest!
The Cosplay Contest is back and better than ever! We want all skills and levels of cosplay to compete, and all of you are eligible for prizes! Whether this is your first cosplay, or you are a master craftman, there is room for you! See rules and registrations below.
Have a prop you made? We want to see it! This brand new contest is being judged by master craftsmen who have made props for TV and Hollywood Movies! This contest is open to all, and no registration is required. See rules down below!
Adult Cosplay Contest
2 Categories for Adults
1. Crafting Cosplay – This is for those that have created more than 75 percent of their cosplay by their own craftsmanship and handiwork.
2. Non-Crafting Cosplay - This is available to anyone who dresses up in cosplay, regardless of how much was commissioned, store bought, or repurposed materials.
Crafting Cosplayers -
All cosplayers for Crafting Cosplay will have to preregister at the cosplay booth with our cosplay judges. They will take photos of you, with your permission, to use as a basis for selecting the winners of the contests. It is not required for you to bring any documentation about your cosplay build, but it is also not frowned upon if you wish for them to see how you created it.
Non-Crafting Cosplayers -
Non crafting cosplayers do not need to register or be prejudged. They will just need to be present for the cosplay contest on the main stage.
Group Cosplays can enter either category, but will share whatever prize they win.
Presentations and skits are encouraged, but will have a strict 60 second time limit on the stage to present. You must have the skit registered at the merchandise booth at least 2 hours before the contest. We can provide up to 4 microphones. This goes for crafting and non crafting cosplayers. If you have accompanying sound you want played, please have a flash drive that can be plugged in, and have it to the sound manager at the main stage 2 hours before the contest begins.

Kids Cosplay Contest
No preregistration required. All kids are entered just by being present for the cosplay contest on Sunday. All kids will receive a prize just for entering the contest. There will be 5 additional awards given to kids for the following categories:
Scariest Cosplayer
Cutest Cosplayer
Funniest Cosplayer
Most Original Cosplayer
Best Stage Performer
Judges can choose to add additional prizes depending on entries received for the kids cosplay contest, and will be up to their discretion.
Props Contest Rules
Two Categories: Master Prop and Budget Prop
Master Prop - Any prop that uses more than 100 dollars in materials
Budget Prop - Any prop that uses less than 100 dollars in materials
Prop can be from any genre of nerddom. No pre registration is required. Winners will be at judge's discretion. Props entered must pass through weapons check upon entry. Any prop that can't pass weapons check will be ineligible for the contest.
