Rehabilitation Care

We offer a comprehensive approach to help horses regain their physical strength, mobility, and overall well-being. Equine rehabilitation plays a crucial role in providing an injured horse the appropriate interventions and therapies, and we understand the importance in taking into account the specific needs of each horse.

We offer individualized rehabilitation care for a range of injuries such as:
tendon and ligament injuries, joint mobility issues, inflammation, neurological conditions, and post-surgical recovery.

We are located just 3 miles from Blue Ridge Equine Clinic, and our goal is to provide the best level of care dictated by the horse's veterinarian. These plans may include a combination of veterinary treatments/visits, therapeutic exercises, controlled movements, and gradual reintroduction to work or training. The duration and intensity of the rehabilitation program depend on the horse's condition and response to treatment.

Training/Tune-ups

CHA certified riding instructor and trainer, Kayla Wilson, has extensive experience in both English and Western riding, training, and instruction.

Specializing in assessing and understanding the specific needs of each horse, Kayla works to develop a tailored training program for each horse that she trains. Her priority is the horse's well-being and using positive reinforcement techniques.

Kayla offers tune-up training that is particularly beneficial for horses that have had a break from consistent training, or for those that exhibit behavior or performance issues.

Kayla is also available to travel to local barns to assist in at-home training and instruction/rides.
