Saturday Adult Cosplay Contest Sponsored by Misfit Games

Our contest continues to improve each year because of the community feedback we get from you!

Saturday Adult contest is 17 and up. We encourage 1st time competitors and younger cosplayers to enter our Junior contest on Sunday. Ages 16 and under.

All cosplayers will have to preregister at the cosplay headquarters with our cosplay judges. They will take photos of you, with your permission, to use as a basis for selecting the winners of the contests. It is not required for you to bring any documentation about your cosplay build, but it is also not frowned upon if you wish for them to see how you created it.

Preregistration Hours: 10a – 2p

Contest 4p Saturday on Main Stage

The cosplay stage walk is open to EVERYONE but only those who register will be considered for prizes. Group Cosplays can be considered for any of the prizes, but the prize will be shared by all participants of the group. Presentations and skits are allowed, but will have a strict 60 second time limit on the stage to present. You must have the skit registered at the merchandise booth at least 2 hours before the contest. We can provide up to 4 microphones. This goes for crafting and non-crafting cosplayers. If you have accompanying sound you want played, please have a flash drive that can be plugged in, and have it to the sound manager at the main stage 2 hours before the contest begins.

Best in Show will receive VIP passes to Nococon 2027, 150 dollars grand prize, Promoted on our social media as the winner, and will be asked to JUDGE AT NOCOCON 2027!

Runner up will receive Weekend Passes to Nococon 2027, promoted on social media along with the Best in Show, and will be asked to step in as a guest judge should the Best in Show be unable to attend Nococon 2027! Merchandise Prizes and others will be handed out at the Cosplay Judge's discretion based on entries and available prizes. We want thank Misfit Games for being our cosplay sponsor and all donated merchandise!

Juniors Cosplay Contest Junior contest is 16 and under. We encourage veterans and cosplayers over the age of 16 to sign up for the adult contest on Saturday All cosplayers will have to preregister at the cosplay headquarters with our cosplay judges. They will take photos of you, with your permission, to use as a basis for selecting the winners of the contests. It is not required for you to bring any documentation about your cosplay build, but it is also not frowned upon if you wish for them to see how you created it. Preregistration Hours: 10:0 a.m. to 1p.m.

Contest is at 3 p.m. On the Main Stage Sunday Junior Cosplay Awards for 2026 Are as Follows Best in Show Most Original Cosplay Runner Up Best Group Cosplay Best Performance You Got Spirit (Most Potential) Judges can choose to add additional prizes depending on entries received for the contest and will be up to their discretion.

Cosplay Parade! (Sunday only)

All cosplayers and attendees are welcome to participate, no sign up necessary. The parade will go around the perimeter of the arena, starting at the cosplay headquarters. Music will play!
This is a great event for cosplayers of all ages who want to show off their cosplays but aren’t comfortable participating in the contests held on the main stage!


Parade Starts Sunday at 2:15 p.m.

For all those wanting to participate, please be at the Cosplay HQ up to 10 mins prior to the parade.
